The benefits of having a date with yourself
Let Go With Love
When we let go of the attachment to a specific outcome we invite space to to think and be still, settle in with ourselves and to just listen.
In this soft space we create for ourselves we begin to go deeper in to a process I prefer to as meeting ourselves. I don't know whether you agree with me here, but we can all too easily fill an empty space of time that we have freed up all too quickly. that 15 minutes we had to do some yoga gets taken up by emptying the dishwasher. We all follow this cycle at times in our lives and that is ok.
For most of us the activities that swallow up this “spare time” we have created may not quite be something that is satisfying for our own souls needs. What does your soul need? Have you ever asked it?
I have a beautiful little ritual here for you to stay focused on yourself for 10 minutes only. Taking that first crucial step to devote the time to YOU. And reap the benefits.
Pre love work
Find a space of time in your diary where you can have a 10 minute break.
Set up a date with myself appointment even cooler code it if you wish
Set a reminder 1 day before so you can remind yourself the importance and of course start to look forward to this time reset alarm for 5 minutes before the date with yourself
Devotional Day
When your alarm goes off 5 you have 5 minutes to go through the normal do I have time don’t I can I pull myself from this chore…and go find a space that looks appealing and sit there

I am sure it will be more time like that…and little by little these rituals become easier and easier to squeeze in to your schedule. After a while you’ll find yourself yearning for a date with yourself. And before you know it you have unconsciously created a beautiful self care practise.
Here is the breathe video it is a specific yoga breath called Ujjayi which helps you to concentrate more and gain focus. It also activates the nadis which are energy channels within the body running through the spine which is the home of our central nervous system.

You may feel tingling after this breathe work as you are stimulating these channels which carry air, blood and nutrients around your body. This stimulation lights you up from the inside out. Which is COSMIC!
