Using your voice is a whole-body experience. All your life lessons and stories are waiting to be poured out and transmitted through you to make one-heck-of-a-noise that speaks only of your truth and resonates harmoniously with your essence.

  • Grant came to me as a college lecturer wishing to improve the range of his singing voice. After 8 sessions he turned around to me and said “Natalie something of a miracle is happening. My students are communicating with me in an entirely different manner. I believe they are seeing me for the first time and listening to what I have to say as I have the confidence that my voice matters. It’s changing my life. And I thought I was coming to improve my Mozart arias!”

  • Stuart had a vision that one day he would be a dancer. But he felt so nervous to show his voice in public because he was ashamed of the way his voice broke each time he hit a certain note and range. Within a few months, he understood how his voice worked anatomically. He could associate with the physiological barriers and find a solution to work through them with specific exercises. Now in his second year of theatre school, he returns to me when he requires mentoring and advice on certain techniques to empower his voice as he no longer lets the judging, critical voice take charge. 

  • Ellen came to me to heal a trauma response from her childhood. She had been told she couldn’t sing as a child. This memory stayed with her for 35 years. “Even though my voice is trembling I will speak my truth.” As the sessions progressed Ellen came to believe that her voice had a quality and pureness that needed to be heard. Her transformation was so beautiful to witness and as her confidence grew she began to step out further and further and loved playing with all the timbres, qualities and emotions her voice taught her. 

  • When Helen arrived, she wouldn’t communicate with me. Her mum wanted her to take singing lessons. I helped her to use her voice by reading passages of her favourite books to me. Slowly we began to sing and coax out her voice from hiding in the shadows. After a few years of lessons, one day she came in and told me she was applying to a music college with voice as her main instrument. My heart leaped with joy and I felt such admiration for the little child who found the courage and confidence to come out of her shell.
