The 7 commonly used Solfeggio Frequencies and their transformational characteristics
What are the benefits of Sound healing?
Sound healing can help you clear energetic blockages and thus facilitate healing on a physical and mental level. Some of the benefits of sound therapy include lower stress levels, fewer mood swings, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and improved sleep
Over the years, sound healing has also been used to treat a number of conditions including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, autism, and dementia.
SOLFEGGIO FREQUENCIES
This is a form of music that uses specific sound patterns to stimulate the brain. These special tracks help your brain waves achieve a frequency with many benefits. Solfeggio Frequencies are typically used for transformational purposes and can help improve relationships, deal with fear and change, awaken one’s intuition, and so on. These Solfeggio Frequencies include a set of sacred numbers with a repeating sequence of 3, 6 and 9, and each Solfeggio Frequency has a specific purpose. These tones contain the frequency required to balance your energy and heal you. For example, the 528 hertz (Hz) frequency can be used to repair DNA and is a frequency of Universal miracles.
The 7 commonly used Solfeggio Frequencies and their characteristics are:
396 Hz – Liberating Guilt and Fear
417 Hz – Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change
528 Hz – Transformation and Miracles
639 Hz – Connecting Relationships
741 Hz – Awakening Intuition
852 Hz – Returning to Spiritual Order
963 Hz – Divine Consciousness or Enlightenment
Binaural Beats
You may be familiar with Binaural Beats; this frequency is often used as ‘chill out’ music or found in meditations; I also love layering my tracks with these beats to capture the different frequencies for clients. How it works is… if you listen to a tone of 200 Hz in your left ear and a tone of 205 Hz in your right ear, your brain will automatically perceive an illusory tone and produce a new frequency of 5 Hz (205 – 200 = 5 Hz). This third tone is called a binaural beat. Best experienced via earphones, binaural beats can be used for a variety of purposes such as meditation, lowering stress levels and anxiety, increasing focus, relieving pain and aches, improving sleep, and overcoming depression.
What is vocal toning?
This type of sound healing involves using one steady tone to open your energetic pathways. Vocal toning is very intuitive, and it’s seven tones based on the vowels – toning is something we do naturally, like releasing an audible sigh of relief. Each one is connected to a particular chakra or area of the body. Using a specific tone allows you to access a particular point of the body and begin to heal it. For example, an “ah” tone reaches the heart chakra while an “ee” sound goes to the crown chakra.
The voice is the only tool more powerful than the gong, especially your own voice because you are self-generating the healing vibrations to shift energetic blocks. That’s why many mantras are so powerful, they harness the energetic capacities of the ancients – from the Egyptians and Greeks to indigenous tribes.
Wellbeing through Sound
I hope you have enjoyed our journey into sound. While there are many types of sound healing, each one offers a host of benefits that can improve your well-being, energy levels, and performance at work. Think about what you want to get out of your sound healing experiences. This will help you pick some to try and, once you’ve experimented with a few, you’ll be able to decide exactly what form of sound therapy works best for you.
Connect to the divine through music and sound
For me the connection to the divine has always been through sound and music and I’d love to help you to unlock your gifts of listening to the messages and codes the divine wishes to share.
Let the music lift you up - When you have a question to ask of the divine, one way to ask for their guidance is to listen to music. Take a deep breath and pop on the radio, then whilst thinking of your question, ask for guidance, then it is simply listening for the response. What I have always found is the volume or frequency of the answer becomes louder, or more pronounced if they are speaking to you.
Stuck Record - This is something I have mentioned, but if you set your playlists to shuffle, do you find the same song pops up on repeat over and over? Some think it's the algorithm, but personally, I like to think the Divine is reaching me to tell me something I need to know.
Catchy Song - Ever find yourself repeating a song over and over in your head? Yes, me too. Ever stop to think about why? Often the divine is reaching you through this repetition in your mind, so you stop and address something in your life. A bit like angel numbers but louder and in your head!
Meditate - I know, I know, we spiritual coaches are always telling you to meditate. But this is a powerful place to tune in to the frequency of the divine, choosing a music or a soundtrack tuned to 432h is a soft and bright frequency, which is relaxing for the body and mind. This enables your body to fully relax and for the divine to visit you with their messages of love and guidance.
Make some noise - Another way to connect to the divine through the power of music, is to sing or make some noise. Your body is an instrument. Our throat chakras get blocked up too, so making music or sounds yourself is another way to clear that energy passage to allow a greater depth of connection.
Move your body - As you are singing or making some noise. Jump and dance and shake, move however you feel comfortable, rolling your hips is a great way to connect with the divine and it clears a lot of stuckness in our gut (or intuitive brain).
Good Vibrations - My personal favourite way of connecting with the divine is using sound bowls. I have two, one representative of the masculine frequencies and one of the feminine, so when I offer healing sessions I use both to ensure the client is fully balanced.
It’s such a joy to be offering up my voice as a tool for expansion and growth.
